Yet another movie not screened for critics?

The ever-vigilant Lou Lumenick says one of the films opening this week -- Delta Farce, starring Larry the Cable Guy -- "isn't good enough to be screened in advance for critics". That might be true in the States -- and certainly the last live-action film to star Larry the Cable Guy, Health Inspector, wasn't screened for critics -- but for what it's worth, there was a screening here in Vancouver on Monday. I might have gone, if it hadn't been for the fact that my family was moving to a temporary new home this week.

  1. But aren't you glad to not have to see this one? I saw the trailer before Hot Fuzz last night and it made me cringe.

  2. HOw's the move going? I'm so excited you'll have more space...wish it could've been less complicated, but it sounds like in the end it will be a great move up.

  3. I haven't seen the trailer. Lucky me, eh?

I hate moving in general, and this is the first time I've moved with an entire family in tow, so it's been a crazier experience than usual. But we're enjoying the extra space. Last night I got to work in the living room after the kids went to bed, which was nice.
