Star Trek continuity errors galore!

Life is full of continuity errors, so why should movies and TV shows be any different? Especially when we're talking about Star Trek, a 42-year-old series that has produced roughly 700 episodes and 10 movies to date -- not counting the new movie that will reportedly "reboot" the franchise and throw much, but not all, of existing continuity out the window. Thankfully, one brave soul has made a point of not only noting the many continuity errors, but documenting some of them via YouTube. Enjoy.

I like the videos you have made must have took some time, Some of the errors could be explained away though, The court martial with janeway for example since that whole year did not happen, She wouldent have disobeyed the doctors orders. And perhaps data had various upgrades to allow him to turn the emotion chip off, Some of the errors though are just simple continunity errors plain and simple, none the less well done.

Some mistakes can be explained away as upgrades that occured previous insidents. Such as Data: He may have been armored after previous piercings and equiped with a floatation device. Also, Sisco's statement about the first enterprize being Kirk's (or Pike's) could have been refering to Federation Starships named Enterprise; Archer's was only an Earth ship and had a different serial number.
