Expelled -- the longer interview's up!

Just a note to say I have now posted the full unexpurgated version of my interview with Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed star and co-writer Ben Stein, here. I'll have some comments on the film itself at some point, but since the film does not yet have a Canadian release date, I don't know when or where they will be.

The promotional video my church showed tonight had Stein declaring that people will maybe get fired just for seeing this movie. Then my pastor waxed philosophical about how brave Stein is and said he'll probably never work in Hollywood again. Which makes me ask...has Stein been heavily working in Hollywood for the last several years...and I just MISSED it? Because the last two things that come close to "Hollywood" that I can remember? Win Ben Stein's Money and ads for some eye drops. Frankly, such a prediction seems like a safe one to make because Stein has not had much of a Hollywood career to begin with. The only safer predition? That Charlton Heston chap will never work in Hollywood again!

Well, according to the IMDb, most of his work has been in TV and in voice-overs, so he hasn't exactly had much of a movie career ... but he does seem to have kept busy.

Lots of Voiceoverwork, primarily (with a two year break since the last one). Certainly he was working, but I find it unlikely that this was a career ending move. It's not unlikely he will still find voice over work.
