Looks like it's an Invasion after all!
Two months ago, I noted that the upcoming remake of Invasion of the Body Snatchers -- directed by Oliver Hirschbiegel and starring future Golden Compass co-stars Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig -- had been renamed The Visiting. Now, a Variety story on producer Joel Silver notes that the film is currently being called The Invasion. So they're sort of back to the original movie's title.
Hmmm. The first film version of this story was made in 1956. The first remake was made in 1978, and it kept the full title. The second remake was made in 1993, and it took the second half of the title (Body Snatchers). So now, you could say, the third remake is taking the other half of the title (The Invasion) -- at least for now.
Incidentally, the IMDB notes that the original film also went by the title Sleep No More, which would be something else entirely.

There is no need to remake this film yet again.
As long as it is nothing like the 1978 one....it was horrible.
But yet I wonder why bother to do it at all??
The actors need to be younger, prettier (by Hollywoods rather strange take on beauty)and more wooden.
